ASP-DEv XM ForumsThere weren't a lot of free ASP discussion forums around back in 1997 when the original ASP-DEv discussion forum was created by John Penfold after the very first release of ASP by Microsoft. It is believed that almost every ASP based forums database is still modelled on the original ASP-DEv forum, which is now defunct. The tradition has been rebirthed by the author with the release of ASP-DEv XM Forums. The forum is unique because it is XML based. All of the ASP pages are generated in XML rather than HTML. Of course, a the Windows server is required to run Microsoft's Internet Information Services (IIS) with ASP. ASP-DEv XM does not run on Unix/Linux web servers. The ASP-DEv XM Forums web site also offers to install, maintain, and host your forum on their servers for a fee. Features
